8–14 June 2026
The Archivitaly Access Watch is a weekly monitoring note on temporary archive access disruptions in Italy. It records closures, reduced hours, reading-room limitations, consultation exclusions, and other changes that may affect research planning during the week ahead. This issue includes only institutions for which a relevant disruption or access limitation has been identified from official institutional notices, official pages, or public institutional communications available at the time of writing. The Watch is designed to support the same preliminary work discussed in Archivitaly’s guide to planning a one-day archive visit in Italy: access conditions, opening hours, booking rules, and consultation limits can determine what is realistically possible before a researcher ever reaches the reading room.
