6–12 July 2026
This week’s Archivitaly Access Watch records confirmed disruptions affecting archival access in Italy between 6 and 12 July 2026. A separate procedural caveat should be noted at the outset: from 1 July 2026, the national Sala Studio platform has been extended to a wider group of State Archives. Since this is a broad administrative change rather than, in itself, an access disruption, institutions that have announced only this procedural transition are not listed below. The entries therefore include only closures, reduced opening hours, suspended services, works affecting access, or fonds temporarily excluded from consultation. As always, researchers should verify conditions directly with the relevant institution before travelling or making time-sensitive research arrangements.
